What happens next?

If the seller is agreeable to your offer, the next steps are as follows:

We are required by law to carry out Anti Money Laundering checks via a third party company on each buyer
You are required to pay a £500 reservation deposit to the housing association (details will be provided by your consultant)
An assessment will be carried out by the housing association's independent financial advisor, who will be able to determine if you are able to purchase a larger share based on your current circumstances
Once the above is completed, you can apply for your mortgage (if required) and instruct solicitors
