About Us

Lyss Homes is an independent company located in Leytonstone, E11 and we cover all areas in East London.
The company was set up by Shakir Islam in 2022 who has more than 13 years of experience in the industry, with the focus being on providing a bespoke, tailored service to all our clients.

We know that property transactions, whether you are a buyer, seller, tenant or landlord, can be stressful so we put a real emphasis on the service we provide. In doing so, we make the process considerably smoother for all parties. We are proactive, determined and always happy to help. Having us by your side allows you to tap into our network of other professionals that can help you with any issues or jobs you need doing.

We are confident in our ability, experience and knowledge. On a personal level, we also have first-hand experience as property sellers, landlords, developers, managers and tenants. We’ve personally experienced every possible stage of a property cycle so we know exactly how our clients feel. Lyss Homes is geared towards providing a service of real value to all of our clients.

What exactly is 'Lyss'?

As a tribute to his loved ones, ‘Lyss’ is the initials of Shakir’s family member’s first names (his wife, son, daughter and himself). Within the company, it has come to encompass a variety of our core values – loyalty, empathy, honesty, transparency and trust. These values help us to provide a truly personal service to all of our clients. We really want the best for you.

What we do

We are a full service estate and letting agency covering all areas in East London.

We love selling and renting homes and feel immense pride when we see one of our clients move in to their new home, or successfully sell or let their property. For busy landlords, we also offer a comprehensive management service to ease the pressures of being a landlord.

How we do it

We take full advantage of the digital world we are now in.

We take ourselves and our properties seriously, and you’d be hard pressed to find another local agent that markets and presents a property like we do.

By using innovative software to help us, we are able to ensure that we stay on top of our game so that our clients have an extremely pleasant and streamlined experience with us from start to finish.

Along with our own self-imposed core values, we also subscribe to and follow the strict codes of practice as set out by the Property Redress Scheme.

It’s not just about us…

We’ve pledged to donate 1% from all our fees to charities that mean a lot to us. We can also donate to any charity of choice from the clients who we complete a transaction for.
